Proxxi’s October Newsletter - 2020

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, October is usually the start of the cold and flu season. This year more than ever, every sniffle is going to turn heads, and we know that your employees’ safety and your business’s serviceability is top priority. With that in mind, we are going to focus a bit more on the impact on your organization.

Wearable Safety in the News

Earlier this summer, Proxxi was mentioned in this article in SHRM. Although this article was published back in June, and thus refers to “Contact” as “Halo” (the wristband’s previous name), the content is still very relevant to the challenges we are facing today. Contact tracing and social distancing have become everyday problems for all aspects of an organization, and the tools you use to help deal with this issue have impacts on other aspects of your business or organization. SHRM’s article does a great job of articulating the challenges of finding the right solution for your organization.

Since this is such an important topic, we’ve dug further into it in our new blog post. Click here to read more.

Wristbands, and Apps, and Dashboards, Oh My!

To finish things off, we wanted to touch base on the upcoming changes here at Proxxi; the month of October is going to bring in a great many changes (and not just the leaves). During the next few weeks we will be releasing updates to our Wristband firmware, Mobile App, and Dashboard. All of the changes on them will be aimed at improving functionality, accuracy, and user experience. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on their wish-list items.

The updates to existing Dashboards will rollout without any action required on your part, however I will send out an email outlining the updated aspects of the Dashboard, to help you navigate the changes. When the App update is ready, you will receive a notification and will be required to download the most recent version. Wristband firmware updates will be communicated to you via email, and will require you to take steps to complete the update.
